Dr. Lisbet Cherniavsky

Originally from Cuba, Dr. Lisbet Cherniavsky, DDS, has lived in the United States since the age of 14. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida International University and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University. Dr. Cherniavsky excels at implantology, dental surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. She looks forward to delivering bright and healthy smiles for years to come.

Dr. Chelsea E. Kuyath

Dr. Chelsea E. Kuyath graduated from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2018. She completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at ECU in 2019, and officially joined Blue Ridge Dentistry in January 2020. She has been trained in all areas of general dentistry, but especially enjoys cosmetic work and surgery.

Dr. Kuyath is a mountain girl at heart, and enjoys hiking and writing novels in her spare time. She is thrilled to be a part of the Boone community and looks forward to taking care of your dental needs.

Dr. Dax Benfield

Dr. Dax approaches every appointment at Blue Ridge Dentistry with a philosophy that is results-based and comfort-driven, focusing on kindness and a gentle touch. He strives to make every visit a little more pleasant than the last, working closely with patients to eliminate their discomfort or to build a beautiful, confident smile they are proud to show the world.

Local Roots & Education

A true local, Dr. Dax grew up in Hudson, NC, and graduated from South Caldwell High School. He went on to attend Appalachian State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Cell/Molecular Biology and minors in Chemistry and General Business. He completed his dental training at LECOM School of Dental Medicine in 2022. His strong scientific background gives him a deep understanding of the intricacies of oral health and treatment planning.

Beyond The Office

When not focusing on patient care, Dr. Dax is an avid outdoorsman, finding balance and relaxation by exploring the open air of the Blue Ridge region. His hobbies include riding motorcycles and e-bikes, hiking, camping, and sailing. He shares his life with his wife, Sophia, and their two beloved dogs, Louie and Rudy. Patients may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Louie, a certified therapy dog who sometimes visits the office to lend a calm and comforting presence.
